Out-of-the-box, Templater meets the needs of most customers. For those with more complex needs, Dataclay offers technical services that can extend Templater’s capabilities and integrate smoothly with other APIs.
Extracting information from a database and transferring it to a format other systems can use is not always a “seamless” experience. No matter what database you have or how it’s configured, our team can make its integration with Templater pain-free.
With minimal configuration, Templater can easily extract data from Google Sheets, HTTP URLs, text files, and tab-delimited files. We can also help with more complex integration needs.
Many third-party applications export data, but the set-up process is often tedious, and the output is often too cryptic for Templater to work its magic. Fret not. Our team has ninja-like skills in getting data out of most systems and making it ready for video production with Templater.
If a system is too formidable to automate data extraction from, we can develop a REST API so that Templater can read from that system, as well.
The sky’s the limit. Templater’s capabilities are extendable using scripts to automate a variety of tasks. Dataclay can author complex scripts to make almost anything more efficient. For example, scripts can transfer output to a video streaming provider, authenticate with a third-party database before extracting data, transform data into a different format, or send an email or SMS notification when a render is complete. Scripts can even talk to other plugins!
Some Templater clients want to generate dynamic videos from data entered by users (or fans) into webforms or mobile apps. Dataclay can build the front-end interfaces to make that possible, from wireframing to deployment.
